The Dumbest Weight Loss Products
There are loads of weight loss products on the market these days. Some of these items really are meant to help you lose weight. Other products, then again, appear to be conceived solely for the purpose of making tons of money off of desperate people. There are a few products that happen to be so totally outrageous we decided to write about them here so that, hopefully, our readers won’t fall for the false promises made by these products.
Have you previously found the weight loss ring? This is often a silver ring that coils about your index finger repeatedly. The concept behind this band is that it places adequate pressure on the pressure points that are designed to help you lose weight. Science has proven that your body will have a few legitimate pressure points. Seabands, to apply one example, should activate specific pressure points to help you control motion sickness. The concept that one ring on your own finger will force your body to actively lose weight is stupid.
Have you come across the neck line slimmer? Through the use of vibration, this is a product that, supposedly, helps you firm up the muscles in your neck so that you won’t have any more unsightly loose or hanging skin. Any doctor worth his co-pay will tell you that when you’ve got a bunch of extra skin hanging off of your face or your neck, the skin has already been stretched out and is unlikely, even if your neck muscles strengthen, to shrink back up into the firm skin of your youth. If you’re concerned with your neck, speak with your doctor.
Have you found the Belly Burner Weight Loss Belt? This belt, evidently, uses heat that will help you literally melt off the fat as you wear the belt itself. From what we can tell the belt is designed to heat your core and that is speculated to make the pounds fall through.what? We have yet to actually figure that out. It’s true that sweating burns calories but there is no way to make sure that those calories will only be burned away from the part of your body covered by the belt. A fast consult with your doctor should verify that this product isnt meant to do anything more than get your money.
The genuine truth is that there are all kinds of people who only want to get their hands on your money. They know that you’re feeling vulnerable regarding your weight and that you are eager to lose it and they prey on that vulnerability and desperation. A lot of people want nothing more than to shed weight but don’t want to do the work that it takes to get them there. If the task were simple, more people would be able to do it. Losing excess weight, generally, is actually hard. No accessory, bit of clothing is going to make it happen for you.
